how annoying, multiplay patch servers tonight and i have this stupid EA games timer telling me i cant play until friday. U'd think people that bought it online would be able to play the fekkin thing on the first release date!!! :mad:

You probably don't want to know that, the people who've brought it from online companies are probably going to get theirs in thursdays post..
Given then a whole day's extra play..

Just cos we're patching tonight doesn't mean you can't play with vanilla BF2. Just download the patch from our FTP here:

UK Only

well when i ordered i was told on the webpage that it would be ready to download the same time as the yanks.

it only told u that u had to wait until friday after u had ordered it.

It's a shame that EA decided to ruin the game with the expansion of theirs. Why not just keep it seperated like they did with SW and RtR?

The problem with installing the patch now is, you have to reinstall again when you install BF SF, so make sure you dont delete the patch first time round!
