Why hello!

Just started playing the 14 day trial, and got a free time cards for the next 3 months so might as well give it a go.

Its a pretty cool game.

Currently a lv5 Mutant Blaster on Defiant, called Moonshiver.

Any tips or tricks for playing, or good websites appreciated, so i can learn quicker :)

basically you just follow the early missions until you get to the hollows then get a team and go beat the hell out of people, that's where you start to learn the most out of the game ;)

Doing that at the moment, killed Frostfire twice now. Gulch is pretty hard to cross though.

since ED (Enhancement Diversification) You should really only put a maximum of three single origin enhancements into any one power.

don't be afraid to ask advice from higher levels about good ways to slot your powers.

also some characters to look out for who are well known on the forums and in game are Tainted Greek, Mr ?, Ace of Clubs (thats me BTW), Aerie, Pyra, and Proximity.

You mean like limiting it to 3 enhancement slots? Thats cool, only got 3 on some.

Trying to make lv12 at the moment, so i can get Hasten, leading to superjump and superspeed joy :)

Its a pretty cool game i have to say, a bit different from all other games ive played which i think is where the appeal is.

Well, with like 3 1/2 free months play on CoH and with GW ch2 arriving in.. oh, 3 months! Think ill put gw on the back burner for a bit, ill still be playing, and will be up for quests, but change is the spice of life, or something..

nope i mean no more than three of one type in any power

if you are looking for an SG for your 2 female characters then give any of the Femme Fatales a shout (including me) and we will invite you to us :)

So you mean only taking three skills from any one sphere of powers ? Wont that stop you getting the better ones? Or do you just grab those later?

No, he means putting more than (as an example) 3 x damage enhancements in any one power.
3 Damage, 3 Accuracy is fine, but 6 damage has big diminishing returns.
