Fwded on email and made me smile :)

People spend a lot of time thinking up their children's names. It's just a pity they don't always think as hard about their domain names.

Firstly there is Who Represents?, a database for agencies to the rich and famous:

http://www.whorepresents.com/

Second is the Experts Exchange, a knowledge base where programmers can exchange advice and views:

http://www.expertsexchange.com

Looking for a pen? Look no further than Pen Island:

http://www.penisland.net

Need a therapist? Try:

http://www.therapistfinder.com

And there is an Italian Power company:

http://www.powergenitalia.com

Finally we have the Mole Station Native Nursery, based in New South Wales:

Hehehe.

You'd think they'd put '-'s or something so it doesn't look like anything else.

Yes, one of the multiplay crew owns it, I won't say who in case he or she doesn't want to be known.

And http://www.powergenitalia.com is fake :p

I still think its amusing that the Cook Islands domain extension is "ck".

e.g. http://www.google.co.ck/

dot@dotat.at rolls off the tongue nice and easily. the atdot one's a bit more confusing, definitely takes longer to spell out to someone on the phone.

That was the basis for the Nathan Barley gag about his website being called trashbat.cock.

dotat.at is tony finch (who I believe is a sysadmin at oxford uni).
atdot.at is me.

Neither is easy to read out over the phone, but mine (dot at at dot dot at is particularly hard). Thank god for phil a_t cw.net!
