I'am an admin on GamingSource BF2 64 ranked server. The server crashes so frequently its starting to become REALLY annoying. Does anyone else suffer from this problem with multiplay's BF2 ranked servers?

Unfortunately its the same for all large BF2 servers. We where hoping that it would be fixed in 1.03 but it appears a new map was more important :(
Hopefully now after all the Ranked server providers had a serious sense of humor failure about the lack of real fixes in 1.03 EA have seen the light of day and will actually be fixing some things that matter this time around ( large server crashes being one of them ).

ive got a 50 player server and mine crashes atleast twice a day which for the money u pay is totally unacceptable.
im not having a dig at multiplay for it crashing but ea seriously need to do something about it.

Since when was Wake island a "new" map?

since it was introduced to bf2 in 1.03?

Wake island is a BF1942 map, there's nothing new about it.

i think we are all quite aware of that thakyou. But in the context of bf2 it is a new map, that was introduced in 1.03 where perehaps the team ought to have been fixing a number of more fundemental issues with the game.
Dont get me wrong i love wake, i have done since the bf42 demo of aug 2002. but i do beleive EA/dice have got their priorities wrong.
Fix the game, then expand on it.

You dont think we know that? Just because there was a map called stalingrad for BF42 doesnt mean that the stalingrad maps for CoD or even FH aren't new maps... :rolleyes:

I agree, the map was thrown in to hide the fact that the patch was flawed,and didn't fulfill all that had been promised.

I was actualy more irritated that they wasted time and money changing the sounds of the jeeps/buggys and turret noises for APC's......
