Over the last month and a bit I have been emailing Multiplay in realtion to the following e mail I sent them, we always have rented our servers from them and have attented several i series

My name is Callum Mc Neill from the online gaming clan [HH] Hopeless
Heroes, we are one of the biggest online gaming clans in the UK with
over 80 members.

The reason I am emailing you is we are planning an online charity match
on the 12/11/05, we ill be at i26, in aid of Cancer Research - the game
we play is MOHAA (Medal of Honour). We should have lots of players on
the night, as the MOHAA community is being very supportive of this

We have held a charity match in the past in aid of Tsunami appeal and
raises thousands which we are proud off. We are running this in
conjunction with DMW, which is the main anticheat for MOHAA and they
have agreed to support us in this. Myself and another fellow clan leader
have both lost our mothers to cancer and my partners two year old son
also had cancer, but thankfully he is in remission now.

Our website is www.hopelessheroes.co.uk

Thee DMW website is www.dmwforums.com

We where wondering would there be any possibility of you sponsoring the
match as we are keen to raise as much money as possible or donate
something which we could raffle. Or is it possible for it to be
advertised on your website in relation to it happening at i26 and if
possiblw could we allow other participants to donate to the charity on
the day

Thank you for you attention and I look forward to hearing from you

[HH] Cal^

here is a copy of the post I made announcing the match

Hi all

I have been talking to Adrian(DMW Director) about this and we are
planning it for Saturday 12th November. [HH] wil be at the i26 lan and
will be well drunk so u guys might get some kills

The charity will be a cancer charity as Im sure it has touched many of
us at some time in our lifes, Nick and I both lost our mothers to cancer
and my partner Katie has a 2 year old son who had cancer as well.

The format will be the same as last time - one map TDM and one map OBJ
(to be decided).

Each player wil be asked to contribute a minimum of £10 to play , once
payment has been received you will then receive the server password for
the night, DMW have kindly agreed to lend us a BattleServer for the game.

A registration site will be set up asap.

Our last charity event raised thousands for the Tsunami appeal and I
know we are a genorous commuinity and we trust we will have your full
support again this time to try and make a difference.

We are also planning on doing some merchandise for the event i.e caps
and t-shirts, mugs etc - to try and raise as much money as possible for
this worthwhile cause and I will be trying to seek sponsorship and would
welcome anyones help on getting that.

Any questions add me to msn - callummcneill@ntlworld.com
<mailto:callummcneill@ntlworld.com>

Thanks again to DMW for supporting this - much appreciated and thanks
guys for taking the time to read this

As soon as we have more details we will let you all know

Cal

They havent even the decency to reply to me with what I feel is a very very worthwhile cause

Dr.Evil

I have searched our entire support and e-mail system and we have never received an e-mail from your address - supported by the fact that you didn't receive a ticket number.

I can only assume you have e-mailed erroneous addresses

Please see our contacts (http://www.multiplay.co.uk/contact.asp) page for the list of available ways to contact us and we will respond through these methods.

enquires@multiplay.co.uk is probably the most relevant one to use.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Yep, that's in the queue waiting to be processed. It's not that we've "not got the decency", it's that we are always very busy in the run up to the event. You will receive a reply soon :)

Ok

Now we have a ticket number we can find your request. We'll be in touch ASAP to the contacts you describe in the e-mail.

to be fair they do have a 700 person lan to organise... think that might be a higher priority than a Charity Clan game...

Apologies for the delay in response. The support ticket was handed over to me during an exceptionally busy period. I've got quite a backlog of these sorts of requests.

I have replied now.
