reserved slots - which order do they fill up?

From what I've seen the reserved slots fill up last, for example.

On a 40 player server with 10 reserved, the 30 'public' slots fill up first with people on the reserve list and not on the reserve list, once player 30 has joined, player 31 onwards must be in the reserve list to join the game.

I thought it would work as follows thou?
ie if a player in the reserve list joins, one of the reserved slots gets used, regardless on how full or empty the server is...

Guess in some respects that doesnt make sense thou...

This method makes more sense. I'd suggest only setting a couple of reserved slots and giving all of your members the basic rcon password.

This way, there's always either a couple of empty slots or you have two fellow clan members in the game who can kick someone to make room for the next clan member.

We've opt'd for the manual kick option, we have 7 admins, usually at least one of us on in the evening, and members can get on TeamSpeak or MSN to ask for a slot to be freed.

Must admit was thinking of reserving two slots anyway thou.
