i've got this working and need to add a .con file from the TWL league for a match, can this be done using BF2CC?

What con file needs adding?

it's the 5v5 infantry one from the rules page.

I've added it in my clanforge and restarted the server with the new .con file but it does not work.

basically all i want to do is if we have a match i can click on the 5v5 .con file and start the server with those settings.

I've added a new profile called TWL for you. Just start the server with this for your TWL matches. You'll need to set up a game password in the Basics tab

hmm, where abouts is it, i've looked in the configs but cannot see TWL.

No, it's a new profile. BF2 doesn't allow multiple Configs per Profile, it will ALWAYS execute the serversettings.con. You need to select the new profile by ticking your server, then hitting Edit. You change the profile in the drop down box there, then hit Save

i think i understand now - i have restarted the server with TWL then i have to go and edit the .con file in profiles to suit.

so if i restart the normal MPUK server settings the .con file will be how it was?

No. I've done that for you using all the info from the twl con. You only need to change the Game Password in Basic. Switching back to the other profile will leave you with a ranked public, yes

can you double check it for me because when i load up TWL profile it is a 28 unranked server - but when i load up my default server, it shows as 16 player Ranked server, it needs to be changed around so that TWL is 16 and my Default one is 28.

Hey all,

am trying to do something similar to this but am a complete nooblet.

i would like to turn my 30 man ranked server into a 16 man passworded unranked server. i know how to change player slot size. but not ranked status. that is it 1! setting, i cant fidure it :confused: so whos the noob? raz the noob! -does his nooby dance-

any great allmighty MPUK bods able to help? i've already tried playing with a copy of my actual profile. but it just aint happening, maybe 1 am on a monday really isnt the best time to try and play with server config files, ahhh well -praise for HOLY strick checking-

p.s. i have to say, bareing in mind this is the first time since purchaseing this server ive actually needed to contact MPUK, i am happy to say you are the BEST server host i have had the pleasure to deal with! -WOOT MPUK L33T-

I might be a good idea to have a couple of profiels already installed on the rented ranked servers, say 16 player TWL, 16 player CB, 32 unranked, all depending on the size of the servers ofcourse. Most clans need these profiles anyways. :)

You need to go to the profiles screen, then select New. From there, you can create an Unranked profile. Hope that helps.
