Hi guys,
i just wanted to ask, if someone has also problems with the above.
Mainly it is with the maps. As soon, as changes in the mapcycle are made and applied, the Server restarts. This didnt happen with the 1.02 patch of BF2.
Any help would be appreciated
Cheers

Is this a multiplay server? Or are you just using ModManager? Does the same fault happen without modmanager? When you say the server restarts, do you mean it quits and restarts, or the map restarts?

Hi!
Its a MP Server. The Account is MH3005.
By saying it restarts, i meant, that all player got thrown of the server. That is why I assumed that it quits and restarts.
Basically it worked with 1.02. You could add/delete maps to/from the mapcycle without throwing all people from the server.
Also, by setting the next map to be played or switching to another map directly people get disconnected.
After thinking more about it, this looks like a BF2CC problem. I will see, if I can get some help over there.
However, if you have a clue, please let me know.
Regards

Spaxx can you do me a favor and try this client. Let me know if anything changes. I doubt if it will change things since you are most likely using an Rcon connection, but for daemon connections there could have been an incompatibility between the new daemon 2101 and the older 2059 client.

Hi, I have another problem, I have downloaded the newest version of the beta 1.0.2103, on running it, I can connect to the server but I get the following error in the logs Unable to Query Server Info - Server is either Starting or Changing Maps. It seems to be connected but no server info like players etc can be seen. The server is running, and I have used earlier versions of BF2CC GUI client before with no worrys.
Any ideas??
Thanks

If you aren't seeing any data come back from your server then your rcon is NOT setup correctly, hence the reason why you get no data back.
Check all your network settings, make sure there aren't multiple bf2 servers on that machine interfering with each other.

Well, I can connect using the 2059 version with everything working, and I used exactly the same settings for the newer version, so Im at a complete loss. I cant actually check if there are multiple servers, as it is run by these guys.
You sure you entered in the port correctly? I've tested that build here and all seems good. If you check the port and still get no luck post ur MH and I'll try here.

Thanks for the help
Just connected to that server using the client linked above with no problem at all. You must have a typo in your connection details some where.

Looks like, the problem is gone with the Beta Client. Tho, it is not very stable... ;)
Thanks Brandon

What's not stable about it, it runs fine for me.

It froze sometimes. And the Playerlist suddenly was empty althought it showed a full server.
But, I am glad, that the maplist is working again. ;)
Thx

If it freezes when it's minimized to the tray, start it with the -notray parameter.

Make sure you are using the correct version of ModManager. The newest version is 1.0a. Also the newest BF2CC client is 1.0.2106. You are having an Rcon problem which could be caused by having multiple bf2 servers running on that same box without being setup properly. Are you running more than 1 bf2 server on that box?

pk_bloodlust:
Make sure you have gone to www.windowsupdate.com and get ALL the updates. Perhaps you are missing the service pack for the .NET framework, or you have 2.0 installed instead of 1.1. You need 1.1 and the service pack for it.

Still having the same problem, although, if I restart the server it seems to work for a while untill I close BF2CC then when I open it again it comes up with the Unable to query error again. So Im reverting back to 2059 client as that is the only version that works.
