Ive heard similar storys, I guy tried to fit a 9800 into his pc but it wouldn't fit, so he cut bits off of the board that didnt appear to have any circuits on, then becuase it didnt work, he tried to get a refund :p:

It might be a photoshop i know that the background is fake. But GOD i hope its a fake.

i know someone who cut the corners off his pc-world ram, and i actually saw the evidence.

In his defence, he had no experience with computers, and was trying to build one himself from scratch, and he did a better job of it than most the n00bs i help out.

Oh, and the memory still works though :)
