Plea for liftage!

Seems the damn train people don't know what they are on about and dispite telling me the other day that there's plenty of trains to Uttoxeter it seems there is only one on sunday, and that gets there at the stupidly late time of 2pm :(

So, if there is anyone who is traveling from, or through brum with a bit of space that can give me a lift let me know! I'll pay petrol money, and provide beer at AT!

Alternatively I can get to stafford or burton upon trent (about as far as the trains seem to go in the morning, think there's engineer works on) if anyone feels being really nice and picking me up there on there way past?

according to the towers website and the linked train operators they all link to scheduled Bus services that take you from the station to the towers park.

Yeah there are scheduled services from uttoxeter and stoke, doesn't seem to be any trains that go that far though on sunday. Still I now have a new plan, coach to stoke and then the bus service from there to the park. Get there a bit later than I'd like (11ish) but nowhere near as bad as if i waited for the one train that seems to be running on sunday.
