hey guys
i've been working with clanforge quite some time now and i was wondering about the following...
first of all, i'dd like to give some extra info: i have my own bf2 server and its nice btw :)
but the other day i was thinking a lot (it even hurt me some time :) )
if you ban somebody ingame or such then you see it in the banlist
but not the player name... and i find it diffucult to then unban somebody because i dont know if i unban the correct one ...
is there a way to find it out easely or is it perhaps possible to get it in as a new small feature?
much thanks...

I agree, being able to see the names of banned players would make it a lot easier to unban ppl.
Another problem i have is that i know i have banned at least 20 ppl. from my server, but the ban list only contains the latest person who was banned, is their a setting in modmanager that needs to be changed to make sure the previous bans are active?
ps: at one time all the previous bans were visible, but not now. (i am using BF2CC to ban)
Unfortuntaley this is a server thing it only stores the id. If I get time I may well look at moving the ban system out of the server and into a ModManager module where these issue can be sorted but no promisses as my time is VERY short ATM :(

I have been noting baned players keys and copying them into a word document with the players name. I have also asked the other admins of our clan to email me the details on anyone they ban.
Its is handy to have a copy of the player name and id together, as there is the odd issue where the bans disaappear. If you have the keys, you can use BF2CC to add them back on or remove people you didnt intentionaly ban.
We have only 3 banned players so far (not counting the self inflicted TK noobs) so its not too much hassle.
PS you cant copy the players details with a right click in clanforge but you can highlight it and pop up to file and copy or use the windows shortcut key for copy, which i cant remember right now, lol.
:)
I think we should give killing a break on this one, i vote for the "team switch" at the end of round to come before this fix.
