Today we have been getting this error in BF2 while playing on our server:
"Error reading from server"
We have made no changes to our config files. The only thing that has changed is the updated modmanager files that were installed today. Not sure if it is related but we have had at least 10 players in the last hour say they got that message.

Any ideas? Is it network issues your end?

3 days and no support answer?
This happens on and off all day to different users.
It must be an issue at your end?
Please advise asap.
Cheers

the quickest thing to do would be to speak to a member of the server team in #mpukhosting .
Multiplay is currently setting up the i25 Lan event and may be a little slow in watching the forums.

As JeRkY said, ask in #mpukhosting when the problem occurs. Try removing ModManager as an interim solution. There is, however, no known issues regarding this

If you don't use IRC there's also the live support option on http://gaming.multiplay.co.uk

Well, It strikes me that it would be very hard to diagnose a problem like yours over a forum, it's like doing it over email, slow and long winded compared to live chat.
But meh, what do I know.

Ongoing problems like this are best discussed over IRC oor over the phone. We WILL support you, if you use the correct channels. We make it very easy to use IRC to contact us. Please join #mpukhosting on Quakenet
sounds like the server just crashed there.
