Sorry for another thread but i'm sure it's not just me wondering about this...

Can anyone give a simple guide to installing/getting it running as I don't find it clear and am unsure if we (people with Multiplay ranked servers) can use it.

I've enabled modmanager in my profile under config and can make changes there to the script so have changed things like autobalance etc which is fine, but, can I also use the BF2CC client GUI I have downloaded and installed (to my HD). Is there anything else I need to do to get it working as at the moment when I try to log onto the server using my server IP/rcon password it doesn't accept it.

Cheers

In the BF2CC client make sure the port number is set to 16666 (rcon)

Still can't connect.

Connection Type: BF2 Rcon Only
IP: IP of our game server
Port: 16666
Chat Name: Just one I made up.
Password: The RCON password Multiplay gave me that works when I use RCON in game.

What am I doing wrong?

You need to take the query port and add 99 to it

E.G. 16346 + 99 = 16445

Belfar is right. You need to use the Admin port (which is also on the Server > Details page on ClanForge if you get stuck) to connect BF2CC to your Clanserver.

Once you have enabled ModManager in your profile and clicked save, you will see an extra tab appear on the Profile view called 'Settings'. In there you can also set Basic RCON passwords and Super RCON passwords (or words to that effect) which will allow different levels of access through BF2CC depending on which clan members you want to have greater access.

Hope that helps. Any other problems, post back here or jump in to #mpukhosting on QuakeNet and someone will give you a hand.
