Tribes at i25
In order to prepare yourself for some tribes based joy at the event you can acquire the game for free from the MPUK FTP:
ftp://ukftp.multiplay.co.uk/pub/games/fps/tribes
You will need the installer and you will then need to apply the 1.11 patch.
Please note that during the installation you should disable your anti-virus scanner and MS anti-spyware (if installed) as they will cause problems.
If you’ve not played tribes before have a look at the penny arcade strips here (http://www.penny-arcade.com/view.php?date=2001-04-30) for a rough idea of how not to play the game! There are a surprising number of servers running so jump on and try to get used to the game again if you need to dust off your skills.
Any problems post away and I’ll try my best to help out.
