Hi,
Just to clear this up.
GeeDee is one of Multiplay's Online staff team (as am I, hence me posting about this). He was assigned the task to update all the Windows servers with the latest patches so that we wouldn't get hit with any of the new nasty worms flying about.
Unfortunately, some of the servers refused to co-operate and therefore this task overrun.
We apologise for the servers restarting at awkward times due to this overrun.
Regards,
Lee Packham

This needs doing every month after Microsoft release their patches on all Windows based servers (assuming there are critical updates for the month in question).
The "Restart" you are seeing is infact me bringing your game servers back up again after the machine has rebooted.
Apologies for any inconvenience. No servers (with the exception of one troublesome machine) were down for more than a couple of minutes. :)

Cheers for confirming that.
Although our server, and quite a few from what i can tell, did NOT restart and were merely left "stopped" until people within the clans with sufficient access physically started them again.
Ours was down for nearly an hour.

Which server griff_90? I made sure I restarted everything after the reboot, so sounds like a different issue to me.
I had one machine which didn't come back straight away however and needed a bit of extra attention, so perhaps you were affected by that?

It's no big deal mate. Wasn't complaining just mentioned it in passing :)
