Help in adding user groups

I need some advice on setting up user groups, here's a couple of screenies that illustrate what I am doing. Once I go back in, my user groups are not there.

One other disturbing problem is that every subsquent time I try to connect, BF2CC locks up and is 'not responding'. The only way I can get it to work is to delete and reinstall the whole thing.

Admin accounts and groups do not work in the Rcon-only version of BF2CC, which is what you have as you cannot run the daemon.

I have reported the issue of still being able to see the user accounts form on the rcon-only version while beta testing for Brendan, but It has not been fixed. Maybe there is not so much effort put into the rcon-only version now that the daemon has been released.

You will find there are other functions that also error out for the same reason.

so if the groups/admin capabilities are disabled for the rcon version (albeit they are still displayed due to a bug) and multiplay only support the rcon version, are you saying that it is only possible to use the 1 main admin password to connect bf2cc to the multiplay servers?

i.e. it IS NOT possible to create limited access accounts in bf2cc to give my my clan members with only kick/ban abilities?

We have 30+ admins, so as you can imagine it is a problem for us.

Not totally true you can give them the basic rcon password which will give them the ability to kick and ban.

the "basic" rcon password? is that the one defined on the first page of the profile? if so doesnt this give access to all the other server parameters such as round time etc or am i missing something?

EDIT: scrub that, i've found the setting in the modmanager settings in clanforge

How come I just loggin in under the Basic Rcon password and I had full access to all the server settings?

As a guess u have the passwords set the same?

are you confusing the "basic" password with the standard password on the profile screen in clanforge?

the basic password is defined in a new set of parameters which appear once you have added the modmanager to clanforge
