Any modems for sale?

i would like to buy an external modem (dont mind an internal), either a U.S robotics/3com or a Supra Express. the modem must be a 56k or V.90 and would help if it had its box and driver disk.

if anyone has a modem that fits this description or near enough, name a price and we can negotiate.

an external USB Supra MAX modem

not exactly what you were looking for but i'll tell you about it all the same, i've got the Modem cable, the USB cable, the driver cd, and the flimsy instruction card that came with it, its a year old but has barely been used because i ran out of usb ports.

It currently retails at £40+vat at the same place where i bought it from (microdirect). But i'd be willing to let it go for £30.

would help if you could tell me the D/L rates and ping that you got with the modem, when you used it.

Download rates good (4k/sec-5.5k/sec) (depending on ISP / Server downloading off), ping:

On my phoneline (well dodgy): 200
On my friends phoneline: 140-200

I still get 200+ ping now with a £70 modem so i think i've got a problem with my phoneline or my isp

If you do decide to buy it you can use it for a week after i7 before finally deciding if you want to keep it, then if you dont want it send it back, otherwise mail me the money :)
