Hi everyone.

Bit of a ****storm over this way this week.

WeeJ has split up with me after almost 4 years of being together, because she's "In love with" my "best mate" Javen.

And she's been round his today, most likely doing the dirty deed just seconds around the corner from my house.

You think you know people, and they **** all over you like this.

So, anyone in need of a slightly damaged bloke? :(

(Damaged? Unterstand here (http://drarok.com/gallery/Car-Crash))

That's an extremely battered looking car - I'm assuming you were driving or riding shotgun in it? You ok?

Mamacita
7th August 2005, 11:08
Holy **** that looks terrible - heart goes out to you about weej :<

Culture
7th August 2005, 11:44
That is very poor, my sympathies for both.
Your better off without her though, if she jumps like that from one to the other then she will do it again and will do it to Javen.

Women are often a pain in the ass.

Drarok

It's pretty harsh of a so called mate, after almost 4 years, he knows how I feel about her :(

7th August 2005, 16:27
Hugs to you mate, you know where I am

Drarok

7th August 2005, 20:03
I sympathise with your current situation and I know it's hard when you split up but looking on the positive side you are single again and can start to look for someone new who will appreciate you more...

Drarok
7th August 2005, 20:04
that's gonna be rather difficult. I don't know anyone, and I'm really not the type to pick a girl up in a bar.

Hmmf. :/

andyf
7th August 2005, 20:14
Seriously dude, how are you after that crash? If you WERE the driver, it looked a pretty bad place to be in.

Drarok
7th August 2005, 20:16
Indeed I was the only person in the car. Railway bridge attacked me...

I don't remember what happened, which is probably for the best, really. I have to cross that bridge every day to get to work.

I have a scarred arm. Nothing major. I was incredibly lucky.

I also have damaged muscles across my chest/arm area. They're still not 100% now.

Baroness
7th August 2005, 20:33
I don't know you, but that crash looks nasty, so glad you're ok and hard luck about the other shiz - hope you move onwards and upwards, Drarok :)

KingDaveRa
7th August 2005, 20:38
S*it dude!

Thats one hell of a smash up!

At least you're pretty much OK though.

As for the relationship thing - well, life sucks. So you have a little wail, feel sorry for yourself for a bit, then say 'up yours world!' and get back on with it.

Like I'd know about such things mind

Drarok
7th August 2005, 20:46
I'm at a bit of a loose end at the minute, dunno what to do with myself. Between my best mate and my bird, all my weekend time was taken up.

Now those two are prolly spedning very intimate time together, I dunno what to do! :(

Afty
7th August 2005, 20:52
This may not sound like the best idea, but I promise you, the best thing you can do right now is to grab some friends, go out, and get laid. Pronto :)

Drarok
7th August 2005, 22:09
Bit difficult, mate.

I can't pull random hoes, never have done.

And me and Mingtea went to the pub saturday - I really wasn't in the mood to drink. 3 Pints all night!
But the band that was playing were good.

Aardvark

Send the MPUK posse round for a night out with the express mission of getting Drarok laid as step 1 of the recovery process :)

You always seemed a nice bloke to me, what do women know eh? I mean REALLY? :)

Do that.

And don't think about that.

The first few weeks will be the hardest, just go out as much as you can and try to take your mind off it. The more you are around other people the better.
After those first weeks it does get easier, slowly but surely.

Drarok
7th August 2005, 22:16
As stated - very few people around here to get drunk with.

And there's NOWHERE to go around here.

Killy

you could always arrange a night out, i'm sure you could round enough of us up ;)

Aardvark

You'll be amazed how many women that suddenly become interested in you when you have a bunch of mates with you going on about how you're very fragile right now and need love :D

Drarok
7th August 2005, 22:28
Heh.
Anyone fancy a night out in Birmingham?

Or maybe someone has a better place? Brum's quite a hole.

I'm not planning to meet anyone worthwhile in a pub - how often does that actually happen? I need a nice friend of a friend bird, clearly.

And there's NOWHERE to go around here. Well, it's a couple of weeks off, but i25 should be good for the drinking with mates bit (though pretty poor on the getting laid part). Also, Alton Towers a couple weeks after that. Now we just need to find some time to fit in a trip to a tittybar, and all would be good with the world :p

Aardvark

Afty merely specified 'get laid' ;)

7th August 2005, 22:29
Firstly she a bitch so wouldnt give her a second thought cos hopefully she will end up with some nasty disease and you will be better off without her.

Secondly he obviously was never a true mate and if you really licky he might catch the disease off her.

Joking asside i do know what you are going through i had a very similar experience but i had made the other step and got married before this all happened so atlease you didnt lose alot of money in the problems aswell. But from here on it can only get better i dint think i would get over my problems and when i made the split i lost my house aswell. But over time you will forget about her and will meet someone that will be alot better for you but one thing you shouldnt do is sit around feeling sorry for yourself. You gotta pick yourself up and show that you can carry on.

Drarok
7th August 2005, 22:35
Hmm no, I don't want disease ridden ex. Might ruin my good name!

I still love her. You don't go from 4 years of being together to feeling nothing in one weekend.

But I doubt I'd go back to her after she ****ed me around like this. She said she didn't love me anymore, that's not the kind of thing you say on a whim.

When's this i event you speak of? ;)

I might pop down, god knows I've not got much better to be doing around here.

Drarok

How about the Bloodhound Gang gig? ;)

Or Avenged Sevenfold?

Depends what you all like.

Subculture is a regular thing. I think it's every Saturday? I don't tend to go to brum much, as it's a fair trek back home afterwards. :/

Aardvark
7th August 2005, 22:43
Bloodhound Gang, always amusing :) And I've never heard of Avenged Sevenfold, so I'd probably think they suck... :D

But aye, if you can go see a band that Mingtea likes, you're probably in the right ballpark for my music taste :)

Drarok
7th August 2005, 22:48
Heh. He's seen Avenged Sevenfold before, with me.

BHG is 6th November! Hopefully I won't be single anymore by then!

Maybe just a random weekend night out?

Anyone got any good stuff down their way that might be a better bet?

Why do you NEED a gf (or just random girl) immediately anyway? Are you trying to get back at your ex and mate or are you afraid of being single?

I think you need to ask yourself a few questions...

Lucky escape with the car btw

Drarok
9th August 2005, 13:23
I don't need one at all.

What I do need is stuff to take my mind off of things.

Pubbage, drunken-ness, skirt, whatever.

Elbonio
9th August 2005, 13:32
It must suck i am really sorry to hear about you guys breaking up.

On the other hand though surely it's better that she told you about it and was honest?

Better than them doing anything about it whilst you were still together - she can't help the way she feels and neither can he

my point is at least they were honest and she ended your relationship first

still it's not going to stop it sucking i know

bad luck mate but you'll bunce back im sure :)

An immediate GF is a bad idea, but an immediate random helps to take your mind off things, restore some no doubt lost esteem, and get you "back in the saddle" sooner rather than later. It's a good, healthy reaction to a bad break up.

9th August 2005, 13:44
I think it depends on the person you are really.. I'm sure it can help people get over it, but i'm sure there are many others who feel a hell of a lot worse after going for a random shag :/

Elbonio
9th August 2005, 13:47
Personally I would just sit back and let yourself come to terms with it

I think you'd feel worse if you did a random

but thats just me, you'd know yourself better so its whatever you feel will do you the most good.

Mamacita

It's proven to work for some, but yeah it totally depends on the person you are.

firstly sorry to hear about your accident. looking at the remains of the car u are very luck to be only slightly injured. I hope u heal with no long term probs.

on the GF & bestmate topic.

I can understand how you feel, you must be devistated. I have had similar experiences. Your feelings of betrayal on the part of your GF and mate must really cut you to the bone. TBH it may seem clinical but in a few months time when your emotions have calmed then you will look at the whole episode differently. It may not seem it now, but the repeat what a few other people have said already, its a blessing in disguise. She would have done it anyway, its just unfortunate that it was with a mate. Whilst you know who the culprit may be, its really your decision on how this is left to continue. Looking at it from the other point of view i.e. them, im sure that they are not hearless b**tards (even tho they did what they did) they will be feeling a certain degree of guilt. leave things to settle and then if you still feel angered have a chat with them both. But think before making any rash decisions.

chin up... all clouds have a silver lining. apparently...
