What is the official position on kicking to make room for clan members on Ranked BF2 clanservers?

I have read lots of conflicting rhetoric on this subject, including:

If you kick more than 3 people from a round then the scores for all in that round are not kept.

If you kick people with -ve scores in any column you are ok

If you kick lots of people the EA police will knock on you door

etc etc

Not sure I believe any of this.

Can multiplay advise on the official position please, as we have to kick lots of people to make free slots for members. I'd hate for it to loose people their points.

Thanks,

Lorian.

If its a clan server you can kick who you like, EA having nothing to do with it ,they only dictate some certain settings have to be used

if its your clanserver, ranked or unranked you can kick as many people as you like as often as you like.

there is no affect on teamscores (other than the obvious)

i dont know where you heard those things but they have no truth to them

We've been kicking people since day 1 to make room - so far EA haven't knocked down my front door.

I did put a note in the server message to the effect that we'd kick without notice to let clanmembers in and we do try to pick who we kick - for example anyone who appears to be idling, a big tk'er or has a very high ping is a target, and if there a few players with the same clan tag we try to leave them 'intact' as it makes for better squad play.
