Hi, is it possible to have 32 or 40 people on a 16 player map on a Multiplay server?
We have one rented, and when the admin have tried, it hasnt worked. I'm not admin, so dont really know the details.
I've played on public ranked servers with this setting, so just wandered how we do it.
Thanks.
Unfortunatly, the ranked servers will only let you have the amount of players that the map defines. This is for ranked servers only though. This is a limit set by EA and is hard coded into the server software.
However, you are able to create an unranked profile in ClanForge (Create a new profile and select 'Conquest (unranked)' from the drop down menu) which will not be subject to any limitations.

Great. It's passworded a lot, so unranked anyway. Maybe the admin tried pre patch. Will get them to have another go now.
Thanks.

Is this for definite, one of our members has spotted rank servers running with mor eplayers on the smaller maps:
"this server: Multiplay.co.uk: airborne clanserver: 85.236.100.109:16668 is according to ASE 50 players/16 size map, win32 server. There is a couple more too"
Maybe theu are not recording the points, or maybe it is no longer a restriction?
As far as I know, they haven't altered this restriction. They might in the 1.03 patch though which is due at the end of August.
It is probably just an unranked server.
