Hi folks, I have a well matched pair of 2.8Ghz Intel Xeon processors for sale. Ideally I would like to sell them as a pair and the price is very good for the 2 of them. Guaranteed 100% perfect working order. Never overclocked but I believe these overclock well. I removed them from my 6 month old Dell Poweredge server last month when I stuck in a pair of 2mb cache 3.2 monsters.

Pics below showing just how close they are in terms of being matched and full cpu details below:

Price for JUST the 2 processors together including delivery - £150 no offers.

I can provide heatsinks rated for use with them, but you would have to supply the fans as the current fans have Dell fittings on them.

The above including 2 heatsinks and clips - £160 no offers.

Excellent price for the pair. :)

Cheers,

Nick :)

Very tempted... are you sure you wont accept a lower offer ?

I was going to put them on for £170-£180 or ebay them too at a fixed price to be honest but for a quick sale and to get them off my desk I have put £150. £75 per xeon including delivery really isn't that bad? ;) :)

Thanks for the interest so far,

Nick :).

To be totally honest I wouldn't find it worth my time packaging up a pair of them for £10 :(

Maybe later but not for now, sorry.

No no, the price is good, its just not an "OMFG WTF" bargin, and atm, i dont NEEED to go from Dual 2.4 to Dual 2.8, so its just a case of weighing up a random £150 for a nicety, vs a collection of smaller "toys".

If they were 3.06Ghz chips (going for a bit more £ obviously) i would have them installed already :D

I would have thought you probably get £100 at least selling those on? Anyway, yes I can fully understand having to weigh things up when you already have 2.4's :).

Thanks for the reply :)

Answering the other post, My girl is a Poweredge 1600SC server :)

Will you be at Stratlan ?

I may be in attendace for a day, so if you can bring them along, i might just spaff some cash for the hell of it.

Mr Footlong

Afraid not. I should be at i25 but I am not 100% sure yet. I would want to sell within the next few days to be honest otherwise I am going to stick them on Egay at a fixed price, most likely a little higher than the price on here. Having one of my 6 month clearouts as per usual and want stuff gone.

If it's a question of trust hopefully you know of my sales well enough by now? If it is that then feel free to look up mr-footlong on Ebay and Mr Footlong on the OCUK trade forums if you can access that or know someone that can.

Cheers,

Nick :)
