Having decided to dress each of my characters in 60k sets, so a grand total of 240,000gp, i need places that are good to farm.

At the moment i just trawl around Perdition Rock and make about 1,500gp per trip.

Wondering if anyone else had any favourite places?

I dont know of any good places, heard that riverside is good though. What build do you use?

At the moment i tend to use my ele/mnk.

Take AoE spells

Earthquake
Aftershock
Whirlwind / Eruption
Crystal Wave
Ward Agaist Melee
Aegis
Shield of Regeneration
Glyph of Concentration / Lesser Energy

Then cast Aegis, gather some melee monsters around you. Hit the Glpyh and cast ward. Then combo Earthquake and Aftershock. Use Eruption just before ward ends, so they are blinded, or if its ready combo whirlwind with aftershock again, or simply knock them down to stop them attacking you. When blind wears off hit Crystal Wave, then Shield of Regen. ~ Repeat :)

Are there any downsides too it? I have problems with my warrior or monk with anything tht has any sort of mesmer skills which rules out some of the usual thing to farm.

Hydras i can manage but its usually a really close call

Or if anyone knows a place with high level minotaurs they tend to work also

Yeah minotaurs are good to farm, nice and simple.

At the moment im getting my technique sorted at the Ice Tooth Cave, as its surrounded by minotaurs :)

Then i might try the desert

Yeah my trouble with the desert is that you have to go through other things to get to the minotaurs, bleh

try outside fishermans haven against tengu elites for runes etc. if you have good magical resistance in any particular element then drakes are also great to farm.

yeah but as charsol says, youll have to fight past the bog skales who will stack about 40 hexes on you, plus they are ranged so trying to hit them all at the same time is going to be hard

I tried the tengu too but im sure thye made them harder, the tengu wilds are deadly and im pretty sure they shatter enchantments. Also tried the high level grawl in shiverpeaks but they can also remove enchantments and inflict poison etc
