I guess we had favour at the time, and you /kneel at the statue, so that must be the avatar of Lyssa but ive never heard of a Lyssa god

what i heard is that if you bow/bowhead/kneel infront of a statue then it MAY open a portal to a new place not on the map ive never been able to confirm it but today i tried it and trada :p
thought i would share it with you
and yes it is ascalon

walk out of ascolon go straight ahead to where the carrion devrous appear from the ground turn right over the bridge up the stairs and its there or near by.
go do more and post results and locations :p we might find a portal to somewhere new and exciting :p

also i read a random comment on a forum ages back about heaven, as most of us know there is a underworld so it stands to reason there is a heaven. must find out :p

well with this one you can talk to it give it 50g or 100g and it gives you either 1 or 2% increase a moral boost for your team

not really no this is the first statue you come across in the game

Its the same for all statues. And indeed they do take you to new areas.

When the server has favour, bow to a gods statue to make the spirit appear. Most will give a morale boost for gold.

Balthazar and Grenth are the two that lead to areas. Balthazar leads to the Fissure of Woe and Grenth to the Underworld.

They will charge your party 1,000gp entry fee. You must use players, as henches wont be transported. Most players use the Temple of the Ages to get parties, as there are statues of all the gods there.

The thought did occur to me that the new areas due to stream this summer, Sorrows Furnace and Grenths Footprint might, as some rumours say be veteran areas for lv20+.

As such it stands to reason why these new areas couldnt be 'gods' zones like the Fissure and Underworld ?

Maybe the new areas have already streamed and noone has found them yet !?

Yeah i found it, its a bit further along than flix makes out.

We didnt have favour though, ill be sure to check it out when we have.

rofl yeah i know but it was fun to dance infront of every char i found to then just cast fireball on it and phoenix watching it die in a rather non exotic way :p

who is up for helping me with a bundle of missions soon by the way maybe tonight if possible :) i would like to get to yaks bend then ill go back and do the quests just o lazy atm and would like new armour +30 just isnt good enough really :p

Erm...

Most statues in the game can be knelt before revealing the avatar of a god.

But the only portals that open are located at Temple of the Ages in Kryta.

Costs 1000g to travel through into the Underworld or Fissure of Woe. Explorable areas with many high lvl mobs (28+) and quests with 10,000XP rewards.

Not true. You can kneel at any statue of Grenth or Balthazar to get access to the Fissure or Underworld

What I meant is that the only zones accessible through the statue avatars are Underworld and Fissure of Woe.

I don't see the point. Big deal, spend a MILLION hours doing a quest for 10,000exp and get what? a skill point. Like i don't already have 20 spare.
