Wing Mirror

As I'm sure many of you are aware some nobber enforced the parting of my previously contented property - namely the Drivers Wing Mirror which was deeply in love with my car.

I don't know who did it, and despite two names being mentioned to me by people I am not going to bring it up with individuals, or start making accusations.

I will say that it is very likely that it was someone at StratLAN who did it, because the detached mirror was found inside the hut, yet no-one was able to say who brought it in, or who found it.

If the person wishes to contact me personally I can keep it private to avoid their embarrasment - as many of you know I am utterly utterly financially ****ed at the moment and I would very much appreciate it if the person who did it would come forwards and offer to pay for the damage, or at least part of it.

If it wasn't anyone from the MPUK event, then fair enough - I have no problem if it *was* someone from MPUK who did it if they admit it.

If I have to found out from a third party though, sometime in the future that someone has been masquerading as a friend of mine while lying to me, having damaged a possession of mine and forced me to pay out my hard earned cash for their mistake I would probably not limit myself to retribution via words. If there's one thing I can't stand it's two faced people, and I will not tolerate them for a minute longer than I have to.

Well I would rather hear from the person him/herself than from Jase - perhaps if he does not/has not read this messageboard then perhaps someone should inform him of this thread.

if it's any consolation, I had all 3 wiper blades stolen from my car during the night last week... which was nice.

Just promoting this thread to the top, as I have now been told by numerous people that it was someone from StratLAN who admitted to breaking it - I intend to find out the truth at / before I7.

If it was you (and I'm pretty sure it's one of two people) I would suggest you fess up now.

Just to make a note if it was me i would GLADLY pay up so why would i hide ?

Ok ive had a ****ing nuff of this i did not fess up to anything i didnt do i MERELY said to him im not sure if it was me but all the facts point out it WASNT ME ffs right lets go thru it....

1. Did anyone see me? NO
2. Was i sober enuff to walk outside find a car, be sick on it, rip the wing mirror off and return with it and plant it in svens room with no one noticing? NO
3. i didnt have any shoes on ffs so i would of been caked in mud!

ok and reasons why i reckon it was sven

1. He got so **** faced he tryed getting into Ross's sleeping bag WITH ross
2. the mirror was found in the server room which is the room he was in ALONE and was in there most of the time

I think this can go no further, no-one has any real evidence and whilst we may all have our suspects there is nothing to prove it

So all I can suggest is at the next LAN, after the costs of the bar are met I make arrangements for a "drink to Afty" moment where any profit made goes someway to pay for the wing mirror.

On a lighter note, you may be sure that those who where a little further gone than the rest of us, will not be drinking a lot, at ALL.

Not much point in going further - TBH I can shoulder fourty notes, what bothers me is that no-one has owned up, and short of fingerprint (I still have the mirror ;) ) analysis, or DNA profiling, I'm not going to find out.

NM. BTW what's the MPUK position on Class A drug usage?
And at an MPUK LAN? ;)
