That is STUPID
Neon (or others) any chance you can make a quick list of where armour is, and what levels they are. I want to know if its worth upgrading yet or not.
No chance,.. in hell... there are too many.
Basically it breaks down like this, there are armour people at pretty much every other town you come to. Each will have a better version of the same set, but with more armour value.
They increase in price and the number of materials you need.
So if you see armour better than yours buy it. Dont think that waiting a few towns to buy even better armour is better, because chances are you wont make it to the next town without the armour.
Plus making money is hardly difficult and just gets easier as the game progresses, so dont worry too much about it.
So i guess, to sum up, Yes! upgrade today and get free cookies ! :p:

I spent 1k on a set of armor the other night and was worried i'd spent too much. But after neon's statement i'm glad i did. I was getting hit for alot of damage and had been holding out on getting a new set of armor because i was waiting to see what the next town would have on offer.
I bought the gladiator set that's available in Yak's Bend. I had a ton of tanned leather so i figured why not.

BTW, does Guildwars not offer RARE armor that can be found only by completing certain quests? I used to play Asheron's call and it had all kinds of different suits of armor that you could collect by completing different quests, it was really cool to have a wardrobe of unique suits that you could parade around in on your whim.
Not at the moment anyway. Just the 15k sets which look different to the normal ones. So i guess in a way they are.
