The AMD64 version of Far Cry is now available for the new Windows® XP Professional x64 Edition operating system. The AMD64 version is an upgrade that installs on top of the retail, boxed version and gives you an enhanced Far Cry experience. The free AMD64 upgrade supports both single- and multi-player modes. With an AMD64 processor and the new Windows® XP Pro x64 operating system, you can now enjoy Far Cry with additional content, higher frame rates, enhanced textures, longer view distances, and more objects with real-time physics.

If you don't have XP Pro x64, then check out AMD's release of this little gem <a href="http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/DevelopWithAMD/0,,30_2252_869_875%5e10543,00.html?redir=IEGFC01">here</a> to see what you're missing.

<strong>NOTE: </strong>You must be running Windows XP Professional x64 Edition to run this update!

You need to install the 'Update' first and then the Exclusive Content Update. You can grab both from our FTP.
