If you want to join, simply post your characters name in this thread. It would be handy if you could also post what the character is as well, so we have all this information in one place. Alternative characters are welcome.

I'll try to add names to the guild as soon as I can.

As far as Guild Officer's go, there's a couple of people I have in mind already so I'll ask them on IRC and we'll see if two is enough.

If we want a Guild Hall, we need someone who has progressed far enough into the game to have visited Lion's Arch.

Also, chat about the game in #MPUKGW.

Good question about the officer thing Tsunami, I just thought I saw it mentioned somewhere that it was a feature. We don't have to have any.

I think it means we haven't ranked in PvP battles because we haven't tried taking anybody on yet. I think we're all to busy enjoying the storyline to get round to it. :)

As far as im aware the guild rating is only effected once you get to the hall of heroes.
Any PvP matches up until then are just practice.

Im lvl 18 almost 19 and trying to ascend right now, its bloody hard though.

Think Ive decided to go for War/Ele, looked up on the net a bit because thats what works for:) Dont really wanna go for War/Monk because it seems from the posts that 75% of people who play the game are that class.

I seriously recommend you start again with a diff primary class, Rangers are always the ones getting their arses handed to them on a plate.

None of the all classes is such a 'jack of all trades'

Well I doubt anyone can vouch for me as I don't know many people in the MPUK community and none in the subset of guildwars players.

I don't see the correlation between competency/suitablility for your guild and post count on this forum (I've been a user for a while).

There is no correlation between competency and post count. I assumed from your forum rank and the fact I didn't recognise your name that you aren't very active in the Multiplay community. I asked if anyone can vouch for you because we don't know anything about you. As I said before, I don't mean to cause offence.

It doesn't seem like anyone can vouch for you, so I'll leave it up to Neon. I'm not playing the game right now, I'm smack bang in the middle of exams at uni. Will be back next Tuesday. Yeah, been off wow for ages, got bored of that and am waiting for the next big game to come out so I might as well play this as it's basically free.

Popped into town on saturday and spotted Factions and was about to get that when I thought I might as well start with the first one, but I couldn't see any.
Spoke to the guy on the counter and he said he had one last copy but it had no box just cds/key and manual so he gave me a £5 discount, plus I had £10 on a gift voucher and £2.50 on my game reward card meaning it cost me a grand total of £2.45 :)
Is there much point in getting factions at the moment or is it level 20 stuff only (short of wanting to play the 2 extra classes of course).

So far enjoying it, the graphics are very good I have to say and runs excellently in 1280x1024 with every on and I might try pushing that up to 1600x1200 to fit my native res.
However it is a little lonely out in the wild :( and would be nice to run around with some knowledgeable. I have no idea what loot I should be using or keeping.

Loving the Necromancer though! I've been running into packs of 3 or 4 nasties, stick a lifedrain on 1 or 2, few aoes, few life steals then all dead.

Best place is to explore http://gw.gamewikis.org really, not so much opinion, but there is plenty of information. As for things to keep, most only really keep the 'perfect' stuff. Max dmg, max bonuses etc. Its worth salvaging a few items for materials and ensure you stick your rare materials somewhere safe.

If you are new to the game i would strongly recommend playing Prophecies before Factions, as the Factions difficulty curve is far far steeper.

Ive recently come back to guild wars after a seven month absence due to work commitments,and im looking for a uk based guild or european,ive got 2 accounts of prophecies.in game names are mystical celt,death jesta,sylas wild,area fifty one.ive been playing since the very first e3 for everyone and have been in many american top guilds reaching number 4 on the ladder,but staying awake to 4am in the morning is just not for me now.I can play any class except monk and have rank 7,unlocked everything over 1000 gvg played.Iam getting factions in the morning but my new 8mb connection wont be up untill the 19th july so having to stutter about on dial-up for the meantime.anyway if you are recruiting ,give me a shout as id like to do the pve side of factions with a little help from people.

hmm, you may have been removed from the guild, but as to you being in another guild i have no clue!

We do remove accounts after 3months non-activity to try and keep the guild fresh and smelling of roses, however your welcome back anytime....

roleplay is the story

i'd go roleplay to play the actually story game

then you'll need a name (to join the guild) then select you chars looks and skill types, to help you check

You have outposts or towns to which you can choose eg European English 1
Here you can create a team using players also in that zone.
Once you have zoned out into the PVE/PVP environment then you network between the main sever and your team alone, So you will never come across random people in the same PVE zone as your selected team which in turn stops PKs and lag in most cases
