as much as i love NFSU2 im just not excited at the thought of this.

nfsu was great concept but lacking in several areas

nfsu2 took the concept of the 1st and improved it to no end.

this looks like desperate cash in to get sales. i doubt itll work.

i wreckon it would of been better off as an expansion pack for nfsu2 imo

i could see it working there...

Hey Gunny I think this is what NFSU has been screaming for since it was released. All the film titles and other types of media including riced cars have all got cops at some point (with the exception of Initial D). Also there are more European cars too which will hopefully make for a bit more diversity.

As for NFSU2 being an advancement on the first I disagree totally. The first had a great flow to the circuits and the handling of the cars was a lot better in my opinion. No silly loss of power in mid drift etc...

The graphics were better for most parts of 2 but the first is still the daddy I feel.

#1 also had an infinitely better soundtrack...

taking #2 into account, Most Wanted would probably have McFly & Justin Timberlake on the soundtrack...

I changed the original's soundtrack immediately to Techno and Evanescance so I don't remember it too well!

But the cars handling was far better too I still love grabbing a 240SX and go sideways around all tracks in circuit mode!

NFSU is crying out for a midtown madness mode :D

Or a midnight club style point to point race.

I still think that Sprint is the true street racing, although having a set track is a bit bad. They should have a 'first to this place wins' and you can go whichever way you like.

Perhaps its moddable ? Ive not looked at it and frankly am too much of a noob to attempt to mod the game.
