My name is Peter Houghton, I am a director of Yoyotech. Firstly I would like to thank everyone involved with the organizing of i23. I would also like to say a big thank you to my guys that worked the yoyotech computer store at the event (they were there the whole time day and night).

I have had some great feedback from people that attended the event and were very happy with the products services and prices. We did however make some mistakes. Some of our prices were different to those published on the website, another mistake was trying to please everyone.

It was our first LAN event and we needed to plan a little better.
Our system was not set up well enough; giving us problems with pricing and invoicing.

We took too much of the wrong stock and not enough of the right stock.

Here comes the crunch::: to satisfy some of the customers that required specific items that were not available from our warehouse, i.e. Logitech mx510 we stocked up from pc world and had to charge there prices "bad move". And I apologize on behalf of my company.

In the future we will be ready and alot more professional. All our prices will match those displayed on the website www.yoyotech.co.uk added to this we intend on offering a pre-order survive again at web prices; we will bring your order to the event, saving you the cost of shipping, and disappointment.

Please feel free to post any questions here or contact any member of staff at info@yoyotech.co.uk or 08700 27 11 25

Well... I did entertain the idea of a new system whilst at i23, and did look at prices, but due to the staff not knowing the prices and also the fact of no invoices on the spot i was very concerned at placing the order.

I did purchase a keyboard, yes only small, but ended up costing me 2x the website cost.

Don't get me wrong, your statement may help, but with gamers and reputations it might be difficult to win back the majority. Yes a first LAN can be hard, but maybe taking your time over these things may help. You will never sell that amount of gfx cards or motherboards, or processors, but mice, keyboards, and lil bits are in demand.

Hope you have better luck in future.

Regards,

Bryan

The prices didnt affect me, I was charged website prices for what I bought. However the invoice issue was disappointing and although I have now recieved one, it's wrong
