I had UK Online install my broadband last Thursday and there was problems I couldnt connect, was getting Error 718, that got sorted out on Tuesday but now when I connect I can surf for about 30secs then it goes dead but the connections alive, i can tracert and ping any ip and get a quick reply... the tech support or should I say underpaid weenie reading from the website FAQ seems to think my latest problem is software based.. im only running AVG and Zone Alarm when I get this problem and ive shutdown both with still no joy
Does anyone know why im getting this problem? could it have anything to do with several people on my street using 8mb lines and ive got a 2mb line?
please help! im skint this weekend and was looking forward to playing some warcraft 3 and hl2 online!
