According to <a href="http://www.mcvuk.com/html/news/story.jsp?newsId=1930575">this article</a> the UK's largest games retailer, the imaginatively named <i>GAME</i>, is "in discussion which may or may not lead to an offer for the company".
Rumours are that one possible buyer is supermarket giant, Tesco. Whether or not the takeover goes ahead or not, their share prices took a large jump from 76p to 94p per share.
