Again time for a writeup of the drinking event known as I-lan!
We were looking for a turnout of approximately 50 people for this one and as usual the heros of the event were all there via the early arrival service to kick it off niiice and early.
|R|enegades were already on the booze when i turned up which is in itself strange as they are pretty much T-total :p The scottish contingent of FMJ arrive at the same time as myself and we all meetup on the grass over in the tenting area.
After a quick hop skip and a jump everyones over in the pub across the green getting merry in their lovely beer garden (no radiators in sight). Someone was sighted drinking poofjuice and was shamed, spoiled the weekend really lol. I had to make some phonecalls as I'd skipped my aunts 40th birthday party and forgotten my mum's birthday just to come down for i23 (dedication :p). I have no memory of walking back to the event but i guess we all got there in one piece LMAO. No singsong in the signup queue this time lads- niiceness :) Dont know how well that would of gone down with the security so twas for the best.
PC's setup on the second floor most people just talked ******** and drank. I think i had a stab at the new tournament and server system we were using and gave up. Then drank.
Barney and myself had the breakfast of teh win at tesco- much better and faster than sainsbury's. Friday morning and the event really starts to fill up niicely. As everyone is WIN in them mohaa section people were keen to crack on with the tournament which just wasnt possible :S we will do much better next time :) About 3-4 people's leetong pc's decided to **** up (what a shocker hypo was one of them)
Tournament finally kicked off saturday morning after i tickle the teams into order. Big thanks to Bi$hy and the HH lads for helping the In Need team field enough members to play- most definitely appreciated. Getshotalot also helped clan snork out of a fix when they didnt have a fifth player- DANKE! Just a big thanks to everyone for putting up with the bodged tournament antics lol- excel spreadsheet available if anyone wants it ;)
Unfortunately there was some kind of sporting event on the televisual devices in the bar- As a scot i feel that is all that needs to be said (other than the scotland game NOT being shown? whats that if its not racism!)
Sunday was subdued with only the 3 final games needing played. The system drew both eyez on clans against the other two which gave way to an eyez on v eyez on final - this pretty much explains the low turnout for the big screen final :( Still, jamie and bi$hy hopefully enjoyed pressing the use key over in tote :)

Time for me to play some games, which i did.
Monday was short with everyone buggering off- ive made it home in a record time of 8 hours which is just unbelievable. No traffic at all even around M6/glasgow/edinburgh.
I'll upload my pics of the pub and event when i cba- I also need someone to photoshop snorky's head onto pamela andersons body and put him in the i23 mohaa photo seen as he didnt make it in time.
