I really should learn how to play this game, except I'm put off by the number of leet players already out there. Everybody knows every combination of purchasing to get them all the l33t stuff to own me :'(. I really dont have the memory/time to learn every combination of items required to purchase l33t stuff.

I think I might stick to hero wars, tower defence, golumn tag, etc.

Tsunami, if Mouse_On_Mars isn't playing WoW this weekend, it's because he's playing DotA. Ask him to explain what he's doing for the first few monutes of the game and you'll pick it up.

(Also, we need to get him over to a Warcraft Fanboy Anonymous meeting at some point :p: )

Plus, with all of the new recipes + hero's 6.# has leveled the playing field slightly so if you were ever looking for a time to get in, get in now ;)

Now that the new version is out, a lot of 'experienced' players are in the same position, as there are so many new items to play with. People who normally had set strategies on how to play a hero now have the choice of sticking with their strategy or testing the water by trying out the new items etc. :)

Yeah, I played a game of 6.03 last week and I was like omfg how do I play? Mostly because I remember the pictures of items (rather than names) and they've messed with them, so I'm back down the learning curve. :(
