Whats the best craft to use?

what sort of tactics should i use?

how do you do research stuff?

best weapons?

Whats the best craft, depends what your trying to do.,

how do you research stuff, you dont unless you are the commander, to practice that bit, see my other post on setting up a practice server with 2 pc's

Tactics, follow orders and listen to the teams comms man(or woman)

other than that, play a bit and pick it up over time, its a wicked game and can really invokde a strong team spirit..

dont know if you've found http://www.planetallegiance.com/ yet. They have some guides which are worth reading. Other than that its pretty much in-game that that you'll learn it all. ....get you hiking boots on...the learning curve is a steep climb (but fun) ;)

Just dont try and command when you dont know how to - they tend to lynch you for it

Well ive been playing on the Zone quiet regular recently, and so far ive seen my skill rating inprove from been a " Joker " to " private " ...:D

But im still arse, but its a great game

Joker and private are both bottom ranks i'm afraid (belters and ic respectively)
I am now an IC corporal, a giga corporal, a bios novice and i'm still wazz at rix and belters.

with games like that, you'll find a good joystick helps. The better you can control the craft the better you can shoot people down.
