OMFG, i would love to say first dibs, but it may put me on the i23 spectators list.... desicions

WhiteKnight
17th March 2005, 19:23
For that sort of money i spose it would be criminal of me not to offer my bid if no friends cant afford it.

So for now i`ll offer £130 pending inspection at the event.

/me needs a real job

or at least some kind of justification to buy a shiny new screen

WhiteKnight
17th March 2005, 19:26
My justification is a smegging great scratch down the middle of my current lan screen.

17th March 2005, 19:47
Mine is carrying a CRT to lannage on a coach :/

WK also - ill bring that Dell screen - you can see if you can get it working :P If so - then you can have it at discounted price!

Ryvita

£140 and a promise to throw any magic tourney rounds we fight. :)

Any dead pixels?

Ryv

WhiteKnight
18th March 2005, 00:00
Didnt you send that back ?

If not... cool i`ll have a look at it.

WhiteKnight
18th March 2005, 00:19
If the dell`s a no go, i`ll probably stretch to £140.10 + Pint :D

Bonkers
18th March 2005, 06:09
I said Perfect Condition :)
NOT ONE DEAD PIXEL OR SCRATCH!!!

her0n
18th March 2005, 08:49
Omg that's identical to the one i have atm. Shame there's no room for dual screens on my desk :(

Also the fact that I seem to be throwing money at WK very soon :(

Ryvita
18th March 2005, 13:56
£140.11 + Pint + glass of water.

WhiteKnight
18th March 2005, 14:57
£140.11 + Pint + glass of water + ice + a slice of lemon :D

Ryvita
18th March 2005, 17:29
£140.11 + Pint + glass of water + ice + a slice of lemon + napkin

This is getting ridiculous, fisticuffs at dawn to decide who gets it whiteknight? :)

dibs is given to the highest bidder :)

which is currently im ashamed to say Ryv with a napkin =/

WhiteKnight
18th March 2005, 18:41
£145 + pint + glass of water + ice + a slice of lemon + napkin + a couple of bits of chicken from a chicken combo if i ever get one

lyn
18th March 2005, 18:42
don't forget the 1/2 eaten packet of jelly babies that always appears in this sort of thread :D

WhiteKnight
18th March 2005, 18:50
I will NEVER have a HALF eaten packet of jellybabies.... its all or nothing ... :D

Ryvita
18th March 2005, 23:11
That's some sort of inhuman request. Even top notch scientists with the latest equipment haven't managed to get an open packet of jellybeans to last more than 10 femtoseconds in it's opened state without being eaten...

I see your chicken combo and raise you a sice of pizza (Meat Feast).

Ryv

WhiteKnight
18th March 2005, 23:56
Ah, see, now, if you are offering pizza, then i`m afraid you are in a losing situation..... cos i dont like pizza, so i can offer ALL THE PIZZA I WILL EVER BE NEAR EVER (which at a Larn is quite a lot), because i have absolutly no desire to eat it myself :D

Ryvita
19th March 2005, 08:28
I don't know why we're worrying to be honest. In the end Bootz will end up buying this monitor allong with the rest of the world. I think she's started drinking liquid crystal or something, there's got to be a t least a decent pint in a 17" like this. Mmmm, tasty Iiyama.

What's the bidding up to? I got lost at the infinite pizza bit.

Ryv

Bootz
19th March 2005, 11:52
I'll pass here. Im not requiring dual setup and after something a bit bigger. Although I'm still not sure 19" are worth it with the same res.

Ryvita
19th March 2005, 12:00
Do 19" screens not do 1600 x 1200?

1280 x 1024 has always done for me, but 2560 x 1024 will be better. :)

Ryv

Depends how much you pay.. there are a few that do.

Ryvita

Bonkers
