hi all

Think you are big, think you know it all..

You did Starcraaaft, hah piece of simpilicty

You did Astronest. what lamers

you did Netroplis, oh please, you have a cherry bomb, tsch tsch..

BUT, I bet you haven't done STARPEACE

Its around £30 and 1st month free £5 a month from then on

I bought it at 11am, its 12.03 am and I have just stopped for breath, the best way is to describe it..

you know about the online games, but look dowm first person view, like everquest, well this is the same, but think netropolis, with more build options than you can dream of..

Believe me, i kid you not, there are well over 400 different technologies to research per race, and there are 6 different races..

its a big un, allright..

1st month free, ill let you know when i get bored of it..

New online games vary around the amount of time it takes before you get bored of them. It's like if you play Planetarion for six months then move on to Empire Quest, you'll be playing EQ for about 2 weeks before you get bored.

It sounds pretty good, but the bomb is that you have to pay for it, once when you initially buy it and then a fiver a month after you get addicted...

I was supposed to have been one of the BETa testers for this game. I managed to download the main file at an amazing 500bytes/second, then once downloading i managed after around 10 attempts to signup with the relevant details.

After this point i was unable to play the game at all. I just got "the server timed out" and loads of internet explorer errors.

All i warn you is that if you have a modem or a bad isp DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY before trying it, or making sure that you have a decent connection to their servers.

My friend who is on Telewest, a normally decent isp was also a beta tester, and like me, was unable to get connected.

Please dont waste your money, especially when you have to pay up front. (not sure if you can try before you buy)

You can register for the demo, but they dont actually send you a key, or allow you to download anything.

weird.

Also, I havent seen it for sale anywhere.

Hmm, I bought it in spain, being an ADSL monkey it is still a bit slow and jerky sometimes..

Maybe you are right, I wonder if it will go the way of Mankind, the other online experience which just ended up being a white elephant..

I am still in my free month period, at this point I can't say I have decided either way to pay to keep the game..

If I decide not to, then maybe I will give it away at I7
