New warcraft 3 patch out 1.18 you can download it on battlenet but not download the seperate file at the moment.

Although my copy will not install the new patch as it errors.

add to that the 6.0 version of Dot abeing released...

They do admit it being buggy, but then they're all Beta's arn't they

OMFG it's actually out!

Now all we need is Skibi TD 6

..only been waiting since about August! :p

EDIT: I always thought the dota maps werent official until they were put on the dota-allstars.com home page?

Well Guinsoo promised a version of 6.0 this week, there is a post in the download forums with it on there, it has 9 pages of comments and nothing untoward like last time so i guess it's legit.

Skibi is also cool, didn't realise it had a big following in the MPUK community???

This is a good point however it was promised from Guinsoo last week, and has since been posted. So unless it's another leaked Beta...

We have NEVER completed it on meatwall tho :(

Don't think i've played the latest versions of it really, you don't see anwhere near as many games of it anymore.

Well you don't because as soon as you see a game of Dota you get sucked in :) Would be interesting to play a game of it sometime.

To be honest i've been to a couple of strats, back in the days of the Fissc, not since then, maybe the next one (or oe after that) i'll give my other regular lan a miss for a bit of strat opulance

If you have problems installing...... like a lot of people it seems I have posted on the Warcraft 3 forums.......

For the error about warcraft3/installpath you need to add this registry key.....

Run regedit and go to

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Blizzard Entertainment/Warcraft III/

Now add a string key called "InstallPath"

With the value of where you installed it e.g.

"D:\games\warcraft3"D:\games\Warcraft III
