I'm enjoying this game immensly but I do have a question about levels in the game Currently I'm a Troll Hunter, I have a bow skill of 75/75 and an axe skill of 75/75. Is it possible to break this 75 limit?. I'm aware it is possible for skills like engineering / mining and first aid, but the trainers (in the Orc City) don't offer any weapons training above the basic level.

This I find very confusing, as a new player am I expect to search for improved training? (any clues please would be apprecated) or is this the limit for weapon skills and I should cross train in something else?

That's my main 'fear' about WoW..
it seems to be very easy to max it out very quickly :x
Far too easy to level etc from what I can see :/

No you cant break those weapon limits, but they upgrade by 5 every time u level so im lvl 28 and my 2 handed axe is something like 138/140

Just remeber if u learn a new weapon when your level 20ish, u wont hit a thing with the weapon til it levels up a bit :p:

Thanks, that is a tad confusing I thought you would have to learn more advanced weapon skills (like engineering/mining/etc) at a city/town. I was very confused when I visited the weaponsmith and he wasnt offering the primary skill I was trained in. I might of ended up wasting time visiting towns looking for a weaponsmith who would teach me.

Playing a game "to level" just seems like one of the biggest wastes of time ever, to me.

Just ask a gaurd and he will tell you where the nearest one is

The only thing you use weeapon masters for is to learn NEW weapon proficiencies - ie the mage starts with staff, but can learn daggers and one handed swords....

Your weapon proficiency cap automatically increases every level - you don't need to go to anyone to learn how to use the weapon skills you already have.

But for trade skills and professions ie skinning, leatherworking, alchemy, first aid, etc, you DO need to train when you reach the cap for your professions level. If you hit "K" you can see an overview of all your skills - any trade skills maxed out require you to learn the next level before you can get an increase in skill.

Hope that hasn't muddied the water any further... :D

You'll find that non-spell casting classes have a much easier time to level up their weapon proficiencies, esp those that are slight hybrids.

No No No it's all clear now =).. Weapons level up as you do, buy new skills in different weapons. Everything else you train in.
I do know about the guards (thank goodness they exist), my question was more to prevent me going between towns looking for something that doesn't exist. It might be in the manual, I confess I havent read it cover to cover.

Indeed, definately recommend you keep all weapon skills you may or may not use up to date (5-10 points behind your max is fine).
Leveling up your unarmed skill to 240 at level 51 as I had to do on US is not fun :(
