Here's a funny thing...

Step 1 - Take one bat handler's bat and when it wants to take you somewhere just say "FO" instead.

Step 2 - Find out that you can control this thing.

Step 3 - Then proceed to take said bat from Hammerfall and pay a little visit to the humans in Southshore....

Step 4 - Scare them a bit as they come out of the Inn.

Step 5 - GM's find out, kick you off the server and then noclip your bat so it ends up taking you back to the bat handler from whence you came :(

Hmm, I wonder if planned flyable mounts are in the works for later-on, the code seems to exist already ;)

There are various ways... however... don't over-exploit that bug... people HAVE been banned for constantly doing that.

That's nice. Who cares if it's a bug, that's Blizzard's problem. If they want people to stop using it they should pull their thumbs out of their arses and do some work for a change.

What ****ing planet are you on?

If it's a known exploit and you are using it you are gonna get banned for it end of story.

It ruins other peoples game, I'm sure blizzard would like to keep honest players rather than cheaters and explioters and banning them keeps more than they would lose.

I'm sure they are working on it...

Just like they're working on all the other bugs that have been around for the duration of the beta and are STILL there in retail.

Blizzard's arrogance and complete indifference to fixing the game is seriously putting me off renewing after a month. Not only have they had the beta time to fix stuff but also the previous American release. (I nearly called it launch but that would imply it got off the ground).

i just did exactly the same myself now :/ took a bat from tarren mill to UC ... kinda didnt go anywhere. Wandered to southshore, did some exploring, went to arathi then stromegarde. Scared a few alliance then WoW crashed when i went over water.

Strange thing is, the guy right after me in the bat queue also bugged and we were BOTH in southshore :D
