Major Hunter Bug

Yesterday I finally completed the pet taming quests (Woo Hoo). I happily strolled into the Golden Plains having read in the console

"New skills learnt: Pet Taming"

to find my new and next pet. But to my dread the button wasnt there....
I continued questing and learnt how to train, feed and revive my pet thinking this would jog the Taming button into my abilities....it didnt...
I am now a hunter who cant even tame a pet.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? or on a more general scale has anyone ever lost a button/ability?

Can GMs recover lost buttons or does this look like a "character restart" scenario?

Does anyone know of a quick fix to the problem? EG: is there a way of typing in /tame or something?

You should have the ability in the Beast mastery line, If its not there then a gm will be able to help with this. Use the ? button and make an appeal under the Character option. explain the situation and they should be able to help :)

If you've installed any UI mods, try deleting your Interface and WTF folder completely.
Mods can screw around with stuff sometimes.

Im such a noob, i Havent done anything...

though I have to admin around 10 minutes after being awarded the TAME PET skill the server booted everyone in the realm.

Im guessing this hard a part to play.
