Right I have just booked Beanz Room for Alton Towers, let me share my expeience with you...
1st phone call, I was quoted £430 for the room, heck I should of booked it then, but I just wanted to get accurate prices...
2nd phone call, spoke to someone else, was quoted £560(ish) for the same room, same nights, same everything. Just the price had increased by £100. The guy was a total arse on the phone, insisted the price was correct and wasnt got to change it. I hung up.
3rd phone call, spoke to someone else, was quoted £505.50, I booked the room after lodging a complaint about their flexible pricing policy.
So it appears the prices change depending on who you talk to..
SPECIAL OFFER
*removed*.. PM me about the special offer.. You will need to book before April.. I will tell you how to claim it.

My booking was £606.60 for 2 nights stay and access to park for 2 days.
I you swap your old ticket you can buy a 3rd day park entry for £15.
I called them and they said if you are on their records - i.e. you've been before, then they usually send thru an offer in the post for the 'buy one get another 1/2 price', which sounds like you have.
I also asked about any offeres and she said I already have the 10% discount, saying that if I was paying full price it would have been about £676!!
shocking.

I think they make stuff up Bootz, the prices they quoted me changed with every phone call. They had no-way of knowing I was an exsiting customer except for the fact I would mention the offer. They never asked for a reference number, they didnt even know my name until after they quoted me a price.
I found the sales staff to be very rude, one guy was exteremly rude when I questioned his £560 (made up) price. He shrugged it off with "prices change", even in 2 mins!. The woman I spoke to next time got very loud and agressive everytime I mentioned the fact I cannot seem to get quoted a consistant price.
My advice, if you are quoted over £550, ring again. Btw, the automatic answering machine says "Stay more than one night and choose your benefit" or similar words. But it doesn't tell us what the benefit is.

Alton Towers are cowboys tbh. Debating whether to go at all.

i had a shady feeling about the place last year. seems like the company got too big for it's pants (trousers). basically a private company being ran by a bunch of individuals instead of functioning like a single corporate entity.

Don't get me wrong, I had a good time and all but I just think it's a lot of money.
Disneyland Paris 3 day hopper (valid for 3 years and days dont need to be consecutive) is 108 euros = £75 approx
;)

Maybe Euro-Disney would be a better option then
Esp if they cannot make up there minds on prices, it seems so strange that there isnot a standard price.

I wasn't saying swap it!
Besides been to it before, but wasn't there long enough to do the lot (was on a college 'educational' trip). It's a good laugh and better 'value' for money for those who can afford it maybe?
Was only offering suggestions for those who feel that their money could be better spent..?

I asked the sales guy that and he told me its the "all in hotel and park tickets" - you can choose just hotel and water park OR hotel, water park and park.
