As most of you know my account was ****ed up last night due to a client crash and I can no longer log into my account.
GM tickets have been made by other guys in the guild, and support e-mails have been sent.
I go to ring tech support this morning only to be greeted by a a non-ringing tone on the other end. May I also note this number is 25p a minute. So I try the billing problems phone line, I get straight through to the automated phone program, make my selection of language then I get...
"We are sorry, out telephone support queues are currently congested, due to this we will not be adding any more calls to the queues"
Oh right, thanks... so currently I have a ****ed account and non working tech support to fix it. I'm getting highly annoyed.

Nothing to do with his client...his character is stuck in the game so he can't log in.

Should it not automatically take the player out when crashed after a certain amount of time.
This happened to me once, waited 10 minutes and was able to log in again.

It should.
But after 90 mins he still wasn't logged out.
I logged on this morning and he was still logged in.

Ok, been through account & billing support because I cant get the tech support number working. Very helpful, however my problem still isnt solved.
The person I talked to went to the GM's but they appear powerless, and only able to port me somewhere, and cannot forcefully log me off. Since I can't phone tech support for some reason, my e-mail has been handed to tech support to deal with.
So its now the waiting game....
again....
for another 15hours...

ask for a refund for the time where you cant get into the game, due to them

I'm not joking. Tech support is a joke, they told me to login to the game make a new character and make a GM ticket. Trust me, i would if i could, i cant even get through to tech support now. The phone queues are apparently too long so they wont add calls.
Im trying to get through to them so that I can ask to speak to a manager or a gm. Because its actually taking the piss now.
Also for those who have submitted GM tickets, if you notice that the "You have an open ticket" box disappears please check your in-game mailbox and your e-mail inbox for a GM reply.

I have to admit there GM service is crap, after speaking to one of the GM's after waiting 36 hours for an open ticket to be answered during beta, he said that they were getting so many new people asking for help with quests.
So on a side note people READ THE QUEST

this happened alot in DAoC, usually when Login servers went down while you were still logged in, then logging out while they were still down, causing a ghost.
GM's *should* be able to manually remove all the ghosts some way. I believe in DAoC it was a flag on the login servers showing the account as logged in therefore not allowing you to login again.
if all else fails, its wait for the next server reboot :(

Probably the lower GMs cannot do it...probably a higher up thing.
It's only been released a few days..they bound to be busy at the moment...try to be patient.
I very much doubt Towneh they are going to reset a realm just for one person...think of the chaos that would cause!

I dunno... I had a bug where Complete Quest was booting me out the game... 2-3 hours after raising ticket... GM spoke to me and everything has been working ever since :)
I think it really depends what the bug is.
