I keep getting a window up asking for my passowrd/user name/domain

That does sound like youre going through a Microsoft proxy when using the netscape web browser - they dont like each other. Speak to the techie guys at your work or upgrade to netscape 6 which should handle it better.

I had it come up as well, and I'm not behind a proxy, and I'm using IE. But I am on Win2K.

It only happened on the nickname thread though.

How bizzare.

Seems to only happen when loading up for sheep gif under Strych posts.

it is the sheep i think, i just opened a couple of threads with them in and i got the box, when i opened this one i didn't.

I'm using IE 5, running ICS for the other PC's on our lan, with ZoneAlarm and Nortons AV.

Yes muppet Wizzo strikes again. I managed to reset all the forum titles this morning and as such had to go through and change them all back. Put the wrong URL for the sheep in Strych's sig meaning IIS5 was trying to access it using the wrong Internet guest account, hence the window popping up.

Yet another chapter in the ongoing saga of "Wizzo's gross incompetence" :D
