"An Act of War will feature three completely new sides, the United States (era 2004-2008), Iraq, and North Korea. Each side will feature incredable units" - PCTeen1

Interesting...

Welcome!

An Act of War is a total conversion Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour.

I thought Chuckie Egg came first.

Looks pretty cool, although i think the actual game 'Act of War' will kinda make this mod obsolete. Ill download it just to archive it on my backups, in case i come back to Zero Hour at some stage.

what i meant afty was did atari rip these poor modders off and copy their idea for a modern warfare game...

Yep ... and it's such a common and obviouos idea, why would it be assumed it's copied from a mod?

Given the production values on Act of War, I doubt Atari just decided to make a game on the spur of the moment to eliminate a Generals mod...

In your original post you didn't even mention an Atari game - and considering the earliest post in the mods forum was November, and considering the lead time for designing a major production game I sincerely doubt an Atari game due for release shortly (and with a demo out) conceived, designed, approved, created and QA'd in less than a year...

And... lets face it, Act of War is far better than the generals mod :)
