Email clanservers@multiplay.co.uk as usual Guyver. We sort it for you :) It's a virtual host entry in apache pointed at a subfolder in your hosting.

Craig, as im on the BSD Lite hosting it was pointed out that technically thats only allowed 1 virtual host? so im not technically allowed a sub-domain?
or can u over look that for such a good customer ;)

Why does it need to be a sub-domain anyway?

Oh you're on the cheap as chips package :)
Is there any reason you can't just have it in http://www.guyver1.net/forums/ ?
Otherwise you'll need to bribe Say_Ten with promises of pintage of real ale at i23 :)

doesn't have to be a subdomain at all, just makes it easier to remember the url afaik. I've seen VB boards with stupid urls which I would assume are default...ie
domain.net/forums/vbulletin225/upload :p:

Unless the site is gonna have big traffic I wouldnt bother with vbulletin. I would go for something like phpBB, something free.

yep, phpBB is nice, great software, easy to set up, and if you encounter any issues there's a huge community full of people to help :)

I actually prefer the look and feel of PHPbb to Vbulletin. Although it's admin panel is slightly less well thought out than Vbulletins.
