DL speed is between 70-90K/sec depending on what other people are using the loop for!

as for C-Strike ping is sub 50 (sub 30 to some servers!)

hmmm

I have adsl on a 256k connx, but unlike uk, i get a full 128k upload rate,

anyway, its ok, i get a download flat out around 30k p sec, since its on full time, if i have to waut another 3 mins to get something, aint nothing, a 512 and 2 mb pipe are available here, but the price jumps double and double again, so why bother, its not like I am paid by the min to use my own pc at home, as long as it isnt my old modem (2mb per hour) I dont care..

this too is a local loop device, 512k down and 256k up (unless the bastards have changed the setup again!)

hmm, how does fibre optic cope with lightning, If i coud find a way to put a 300M mast up and attach your cable to it, then I might have a way of frying your pc, remotely. not that i would of course, im not jealous..

Sorry mate lightning may well damage the cable (Slightly) but it wouldnt kill any of my kit!
