I got my files of an FTP server so unix friendly:

ftp://ftp.snt.utwente.nl/pub/games/worldofwarcraft/eu/World%20of%20Warcraft%201.1.2%20Installer/

At the time of posting this server seems to have removed permissions/deleted the folder which contained those files, lucky I got mine when I did, it must've been hit quite bad :)

If you want to use a different torrent client to the official downloader here's the torrent that the official downloader uses.

I was only getting 20KB/s from the official downloader, using azureus I'm getting full whack.

they said they were sold out of pre order keys when i ordered mine, might phone em and chase em up getting me one :/

Anyone know if theres any ppl who u can contact if u werent given a pre-order beta key?

i know that they sold out very quickly.
It will go to open final beta soon anyway then retail:)

If you walk into a GAME shop, there are loads of pre-order cases+keys for £3 each.

Hmm trying to create a new account and the "signup.wow-europe.com" page that it loads from the game client isnt working :/

40mb update as soon as you login.... wouldn't be too bad if it didn't use the ****ty downloader as well.

Think i'll leave it running the update tommorow morning when I leave for bluewater, the CoH european beta I just got in needs to download a Gigs worth too :/

I was waiting for it last night, but it took some time and had to hit the sack. It's up now though:

Take the entire contents of that directory and subdirectory.

download complete, installed the game, update complete, patched the game but i cant play since the servers are down :(

the 40meg patch takes 10 mins to download via the torrent system.
