1. Can you cross over the sea into the Horde island, or if ur Horde into the Alliance island?

2. When is the exact relese date for WoW?

3. How many servers will there be - how many players can a server hold before its full?

4. Anyone wanna start a clan with me?

1. Yes.
Horde are mainly in Kalimdor, but the Night Elves also start there, and Alliance is mainly in the Eastern Kingdom, but the Undead also start there.

2. Unknown.

3. Many. I'd expect at least 20 servers at release. The biggest server in US atm has at least 15,000 different characters, but obviously that's not concurrent users.

ok thanks, also

on the more densley populated servers is there a crammed feeling? Are you always around other players even when doing quests in remote parts of WoW?

I also heard you could get female characters pregnant - is that true or just a rumour?

1. I play on a slightly less populated server so I can't really comment, however the way Blizzard have done the game with many quests and various level ranges of zones, the population is usually very spread out. Also each level range (ie 10-20,20-30) has 1/2 dungeons available to it which are 'instanced'. That means when you or your group enter the dungeon, you are the only people in there.

2. Never heard that before :)

1) Whats the leveling system like ? Fast, slow, grinding, impossible ?

2) How configurable are you characters ? Meaning what sort of range of skills are there, can my character diversify into other areas or limited to specific jobs ?
__2a) Are all jobs the same ? For example will all preists be the same no matter what race ?
__2b) Do the skills keep coming? Will i still be getting new abilities when im higher level ?

3) Ca$h M0n3y ! Whats farming like, do you need to farm? Whats the difficulty with aquiring cash ?
__3a) Whats the trade system like ? How does the economy function, by how to sell goods and buy items from other players / npc's ?
__3b) Seeing as they list professions, what are they like, is it essential to take up a profession to make money and is it the only way to make money ?

4) Whats the attitude of the majority of people ? Friendly, annoying etc.

5) What are the quests like ?
__5a) Can you quest for special items and kinda supa-stuff?

6) What sort of maintenance goes on and how often ?
__6a) Expandability, how is new content delivered, do i have to buy new expansions every quarter ?

7) What is the community support like ? Will i be able to meet new people and be part of a community ?
__7a) Can i solo should i want to and actually advance doing so ?

8) How is the partying ? Easy to find groups and stuff like that ?

9) Are the items good ? I think i mean are wearable stuffs different to create diversity in the populous, nice selection of weapons and stuff ?

10) Whats the support like ? are GM's are helpful and will blizzard help you out with problems ?

11) How much does it cost to buy and play ?

Answers on the back of a postage stamp  ;)

1) No grind at all, you can easily quest all the way to 60 without ever having to grind. Generally I'd say the system is medium to fast.

2) I'll answer all these in 1.
You get new skills available to you as you level, you pay to train, but there's no limit on what you can take, only your cash :)
Some are new skills, but as you hit the higher levels most will simply be upgrades to current skills making them better. On average, new skills come in each even numbered level.
The configuration comes in with talents, these are skills and abilities you can add to your character. Starting from 10 you get a talent point each level, to make a total of 51. You spend these points on 3 talent trees, which are different for each class. There isn't enough talents points to take all the talents, so each character will usually be different, though there are obviously templates that people have made that you can follow.

3) Farming....well some people find it easy to make money, some don't. Most of it is down to luck, constantly finding green (magic) items that can be sold in the Auction Houses to other players. Some aren't so lucky...like me.
You might start hitting money problems about level 25 as your training costs start to increase and you find a taste for the auction house :p

3a) As mentioned, there is an auction house available to both sides for the trading of items*
3b) Lots of professions, easiest that you check the official sites for them rather me listing them. Some are better at making money that others (the gathering professions are best at this).
Not the only way to make money, you can just farm if you want to and sell loot.

4) As with anything, it all depends. Generally friendly I find.

5) Most quests will be: kill x monsters, kill x monsters and collect their heads, kill named boss and get his foot etc. There are more varied ones as well, like delivery missions or missions that require you to fight through monsters then operate something.
There are also Elite quests, fighting elite monsters (harder ones basically). These usually require a group to complete.
Also there are raids, which are multi group encounters of uber monsters, but these aren't quests as such.

6) So far we've had one new patch, which added in a few more dungeons and some balances changes. There is also pvp battlegrounds on the way (check the official site for details). Blizzard seem very keen on adding new stuff in (for a start we know there are unfinished zones ready to be input).
There is no news of an expansion, so at the moment all content comes through patches.

7) There's plenty of community, check the forums :) Each realm also has it's own forum for posting on.
a) Yes, soloing is viable for all classes should you want to. Only same level elite quests really need to be grouped for.

8) Each zone has a chat channel that's automatically joined, you can 'LFG' on that, but at the moment there are no official ways of flagging yourself for grouping, but they are adding some stuff in.

9) There's oodles of items, some drop, some crafted, some quest rewards. More than enough to keep everyone happy.

10) GM support can be slow, there are a lot of players to deal with, but apparently they are recruiting more people to handle the flow.

11) Well I play on the US server, so it was about 50$ to buy and about 11$ a month to play. The european version which should be out by march will around the same I guess.

* edit - There's an auction house in the Orc home city for Horde and an Alliance one in the Dwarf home city. They are not linked.
There is a third in the neutral city of Gadgetzan for trading between sides.

Wow, thanks for all the info and the quick reply, certainly sounds pretty darn impressive. I shall make a good effort to snag a key for the Final Beta Test which is coming up soon i think.
