Sell your body at the Crossroads :D

Otherwise, make sure you've got your professions as high as you can and churn out items for the AH. Otherwise, it's a case of heading to an area where you can farm good drops and sell those.
It's probably the single time you'll "grind" in the game, but to get a mount? It's worth it!
I'm just about to hit level 26 and already I'm starting to save :)

Yeah my proffessions are a pain, I took herb/alchemy and it's hard enough getting herbs to fulfill my own needs let alone sell them.
If you find anywhere good to farm drops (I assume you are horde as you mentioned xr?) then let me know - my rogue can blast through mobs with no problem :p

Farm, grind, churn, professionals. I'm reconsidering my purchase of this game. Based on what I hear it's all fun in the sun till level 20 or so then reverts back to typical MMORPG codswallop :/

When, oh when, will someone fulfill the promise the original DAoC had but never achieved...

Not really russ, I've not had to "grind" once at all ever and I'm 31. Quests all the way, which are fun (see the Samoflange quest) and interesting and give some story.
The only reason you would want to grind is for loot drops, no need to do it for normal leveling.
You played the beta though, so you know roughly what's it like.

Pally on Bronzebeard - Lucky we don't need gold for our initial mount :)
The auction-house is my enemy however, I always buy shiny-things.

I have an ALT in enchantments so I just go to deadmines and loot easy uncommons, give them to her and sell the enchantments.

Any visual enchancments are a license to print money!

Yeah good point, I've stayed away from the AH for a bit, and now have saved up 12g, so I'm on the way :P

An update!
Hit 43 last night and about 10 gold away from my lovely mount, with lots currently running in the auction house so should get it tonight - woot!
Oh yeah, my mount was kinda helped by a weird bug I had.
I bought the mount training for 18g at 40, hearthstoned back to Orgrimmar to find my 18g returned to me, but my training still intact. Hax!

I find that if I buy vast quanities of stuff (say over 20 coal) at once, the figures never quite add up.

Dunno if it's a bulk discount or something, I keep quiet none the less :)

So Lucifa, sounds like you won't be having the pleasure of playing with the rest of us europeans then. ;/

He will defect when the retail version comes out. I will ensure it.

Not unless I can get a beta key from somewhere, but luckily there will apparently be some provisions to allow US copies to play on Euro servers so I may join you at that time.
I'd keep my horde chars on US and play alliance on Euro most probably.

where did you hear about server migrations?

I wouldn't mind taking my undead Mage across and ganking some innocent gnomes :D

Lucifa

Not server migration or transfer.
Just the ability to play on the euro servers.
