How many polys on that baby?
Also, is it modelled on something, or is it all from your head? - If from head, you've quite an imagination, its v well detailed :)

Modeled from my head based on the old ship design i did for the short film years ago. :D This is the largest ship in the fleet in the game. But ill go into details later :)

"Of course the Gamma class dreadnoughts are the biggest I know of, and that cant orbit any planet with an ocean, tides you see, it masses that of a small moon. Then there is the classified Alpha class dreadnoughts, which are rumoured to be even bigger"

Paraphrased from Line of Polity by Neal Asher

Paraphrased from Line of Polity by Neal Asher I've forgotten what book it's from, but there was an empire who'se imperial dreadnaughts were 8 lightyears long from nose to stern, and used hyperspace teleporters to move crew, power and communications around the ship.

you answer is null and void until you can provide a bibliography.

Is it just me or does that sounds a little unbelieveable?
Ships the size of planets, yes.... but light years long? I would be suprised if there was enough pysical matter in a single galaxy to create such a huge vessel. Then of course it would just collapse on itself due to the sheer incredable gravity all that matter in close proximity would generate.

It was a random "oh that looks interesting", from the library. It wasn't a very good book really, I just wish I could remember what it was called. Going back on topic, those are some stunning shots. :)
